- Arrive at the test centre 15 min before time .
- make sure you have L plates up back and front
- Car is clean
- All lights in working order
- Current tax,nct & Insurance Certs
- Driving License
- Have a good knowledge of the rules of the road book.
- Have a good knowledge of all the signs
- be familar with your technical checks
- make sure your tyres are above the legal 1.6mm in depth
- Seats belts are in working order

Faults the way they are graded
Grade 1
Minor fault - Incorrect gear selection, resulting in a reduction of vehicle speed with no risk to following traffic.
Grade 2
Serious fault - Incorrect gear selection, resulting in a reduction of vehicle speed causing following traffic to alter speed or direction.
Grade 3
Dangerous or potentially dangerous - Any situation brought about by the above control fault, which resulted in actual danger to the examiner, the candidate, the general public or property.
