test day

  • Arrive at the test centre 15 min before time .
  • make sure you have  L plates up back  and front
  • Car is clean
  • All lights in working order
  • Current tax,nct & Insurance Certs 
  • Driving License
  • Have a good knowledge of the rules of the road book.
  • Have a good knowledge of all the signs
  • be familar with your technical checks
  • make sure your tyres are above the legal 1.6mm in depth
  • Seats belts are in working order
  • fuel for test
  • keep cool
  • Dont Panic  
Faults the way they are graded

Grade 1
Minor fault - Incorrect gear selection, resulting in a reduction of vehicle speed with no risk to following traffic.
Grade 2
Serious fault - Incorrect gear selection, resulting in a reduction of vehicle speed causing following traffic to alter speed or direction.
Grade 3
Dangerous or potentially dangerous - Any situation brought about by the above control fault, which resulted in actual danger to the examiner, the candidate, the general public or property.
